Penstemon palmeri (Palmer's Penstemon)

From CONPS: Spring blooming perennial with pink, showy, rounded flowers on ascending stalks, and noted for being one of the few scented penstemons. Very tall (4-5'), heat-tolerant, and reseeds in harsh areas. Has sub-woody, branched stems and grows on sandy. decomposed granite. Hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies are attracted.
