Artemisia tridentata (Big Sagebrush)

From CONPS: The iconic keystone species of the high desert west, this hardy shrub can get 4-5 ft tall when mature. It has gnarled branches and small, silky, silvery leaves. The aromatic sagebrush provides food and habitat for sage grouse, antelope, rabbit and deer, especially important in winter. Suitable for bonsai treatment.

Best for: berries, insects
