Festuca arizonica (Arizona Fescue Grass)

From CONPS: Arizona fescue is a cool-season, long-lived, perennial bunchgrass. Stems are densely clustered and measure 6 to 39 inches tall. The majority of growth occurs during the rainy season, and plants live for 10 to 20 years. A deep, dense, fibrous root system allows it to tolerate dry conditions, bind soil, and withstand some trampling. Does best in stony, loam soils with low fertility an low nutrient levels.
