Hope and despair is a false dichotomy.

Hope and despair is a false dichotomy. I am full of hope for the future of humanity and the earth that holds us all, but that hope grows in a garden of grief for all that has been, and will be, lost; all the suffering that humanity's short-sightedness and cruel selfishness has caused.
