Description: The Coreopsis auriculata ‘Nana’ is a compact form of a wildflower native to the Southern United States. Its easy-growing nature tolerates various environments and requires little to no spe- cial care. It performs best in full sun and average, well-drained soil. This cheerful perennial forms low foliage mounds that bear bright yellow, daisy-esque flowers, and, like a fine wine, this plant gets better with age! Over time its round pot shape transforms into a more free-flowing and natural state throughout the landscape.

For a perennial, this variety has a long bloom period from early summer through fall, if dead-headed regularly. This little ray of sunshine will soon be a favorite in your rock garden or as a border in your perennial garden!

Care: Deadhead or shear spent flowers to promote rebloom and to remove unkempt foliage.

Fun Fact: The Coreopsis auriculata ‘Nana’ is sometimes referred

to as the ‘Mouse Ear Coreopsis’ due to its distinctive pair of small lateral lobes at the base of the leaf which resemble the shape of mouse ears.
