★ Sporobolus airoides (Alkali Sacaton)

Must be a warm season grass because this was taken in early June, South Platt Park, wet year and there’s mostly just last year’s stalks. Last year’s growth has lovely curly leaves. This is very tall - seed heads as tall as me.
